Can anyone think of a use for a tempered glass disk that's maybe about 12 inches/30 cm in diameter? It is from our old microwave/convection oven, and while it seems to me that it ought to be useful for SOMETHING- damned if I can think of any particular(s).

Please reply soon, since if there are no brilliant ideas it'll be gone in the trash tomorrow morning.

I don't think we can even use it for glass fusing or anything.

ETA: While large and very heavy, it has practically no lip, so would not be good for containing anything at all, really.

ETA2: the thing is, it's wobbly; it has these little bumps on the bottom right in the center. However, we have determined that we can easily make a wooden base for it, with a hole for the bumps, and then it would make an excellent platter.
